 About the Costa del Sol

The Costa del Sol is known for its dry, hot summers as well as its mild winters. Very close to Africa, the Mediterranean climate reaches yearly average temperatures of 20 to 22 degrees. The Costa del Sol possesses the mildest winters in the whole of Spain with approx 3,000 sun hours. i.e. 180 hours in January and 350 hours in July. The Costa del Sol is also known as the 'European Florida'. Ideal conditions for those who love sunny weather and also for those who need this climate for health reasons.

No doubt, not only because of the introduction of the EURO but also because of the absolutely fantastic climate and accessibility, people are investing more and more on the Costa del Sol. The exceptional infrastructure of motorways, roads, hospitals & clinics, language schools & colleges, golf courses, leisure activities, tennis, sailing, water sports, supermarkets, shopping centres, restaurants, hotels, casinos, cinemas, etc make the Costa del Sol unique in Europe.

Only 20 minutes away from the coast, there is plenty to explore. Lakes & mountains, whitewashed villages, Roman & Moorish architecture, castles & cathedrals, etc.
